This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all bookings made through www.taxiticsfiji.com. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. General Policy
- Taxitics Fiji acts solely as a booking and payment platform connecting customers with independent local and airport taxi drivers.
- All bookings are subject to driver availability and confirmation.
- Daimhub, as the website developer and maintainer, is not responsible for refunds, cancellations, service quality, or disputes.
2. Cancellations by Customers
- Customers may cancel a booking by notifying Taxitics Fiji directly via the contact details provided on the website.
- Timeframes:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup – Eligible for refund (subject to deductions under Section 6).
- Cancellations made between 12–24 hours before pickup – 50% refund (subject to deductions under Section 6).
- Cancellations made within 12 hours of pickup – No refund.
3. No-Show Policy
- If a customer does not show up at the designated pickup point without prior cancellation, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
4. Cancellations by Drivers
- If a driver cancels a confirmed booking, Taxitics Fiji will make reasonable efforts to reassign another driver.
- If no alternative driver is available, a refund will be issued (subject to deductions under Section 6).
5. Service Issues and Complaints
- Customers experiencing service-related issues (e.g., driver delay, misconduct, poor service) must report them directly to Taxitics Fiji.
- Refunds or compensation for such issues are at the sole discretion of Taxitics Fiji and not guaranteed.
- Daimhub is not liable for any losses, disputes, or claims arising from service issues.
6. Refund Deductions & Applicable Fees
All refunds are subject to the following non-refundable charges:
- Value Added Tax (VAT): 15% applied to the booking.
- Platform Usage Fee: 15% of the total booking amount.
- Payment Processing Fee: 3% of the total booking amount.
- Bank & Currency Charges: Any applicable bank fees, conversion rate differences, or international transaction costs are borne by the customer.
👉 Refunds will be the total booking amount minus the above charges, regardless of cancellation reason.
7. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider but typically take 5–10 business days.
- Taxitics Fiji is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or currency conversion fluctuations.
8. Non-Refundable Payments
- Certain promotional offers, discounted rates, or advance bookings may be designated as non-refundable.
- Such conditions will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Taxitics Fiji shall not be responsible for:
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or unforeseen events.
- Customer negligence, misinformation, or failure to provide correct booking details.
- Consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising from cancellations or refunds.
- Daim Hub shall not be held responsible under any circumstances for:
- Refund approvals or denials.
- Payment disputes or chargebacks.
- Errors in booking details or miscommunication between customers and drivers.
10. Policy Updates
Taxitics Fiji reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updates will be published on this page with a revised “Effective Date.”
